Position overview

We have an opportunity for a permanent, full-time Analyst - Project Engineering in the Engineering Projects department. Reporting to the Manager, Airport Terminal Projects, the Analyst will work closely with the engineering projects team and internal business units to deliver comprehensive project reporting, resource tracking, and planning analysis. This role plays a vital part in supporting staffing strategies and project performance management. It requires strong analytical, research, and critical thinking skills, and will be instrumental in enhancing the team’s project management reporting and forecasting capabilities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Working with the ENG team to set up and launch a new digital project management reporting tool
  • Gathering relevant project data from Project Engineers and sharing monthly reports on all active projects
  • Utilizing the project reporting tool and ERP data (Oracle) to compile and present key project metrics across individual projects and the overall ENG portfolio
  • Providing quarterly KPI reporting and assisting in identifying risks, issues, and dependencies related to contractor performance management
  • Collecting, maintaining, and presenting data across various departmental databases, including but not limited to:
    • Historical project costing
    • Vendor usage and contracts
    • FAP permit status
    • Equipment inventory
  • Collaborating with the Manager, Airport Terminal Projects, to support resource planning and workload balancing

Key qualifications include:

  • 3 years’ post degree experience in a project analyst role
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Commerce or related field.
  • Excellent analytical, research and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with ERP such as Oracle, Maximo and BI tools is an asset.
  • Experience providing program coordination for large, complex programs within established frameworks.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams.
  • Good organization, presentation and time management skills
  • Strong communication (written and verbal) and stakeholder management skills.

Salary Range : $73,738 to $96,377 per annum, based on 37.5-hour work week. This is individually tailored to reflect your unique experience, qualifications, and internal equity.
