Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Remote Tax Advisor / Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will assist clients with tax planning, compliance, and strategy while ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all tax-related matters. This is a great opportunity for an independent, self-motivated professional who thrives in a remote work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review individual, business (S-Corp, C-Corp, Partnership), and trust tax returns.
• Provide strategic tax planning and advisory services to clients.
• Assist clients with tax-related questions and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws.
• Identify tax-saving opportunities and strategies for businesses and individuals.
• Stay up to date with tax law changes and industry best practices.
• Communicate effectively with clients, providing clear and professional guidance.
• Work with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, Drake, or similar) to manage client financials.

Qualifications:

• CPA, EA, or experienced tax professional with relevant credentials.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in tax preparation and advisory services.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations.
• Experience with business tax planning and entity structuring is a plus.
• Proficiency in tax software and accounting platforms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple clients efficiently.
