Paint Protection Film (PPF) Installer to join our high-performing team.
Position Overview: We are seeking a
PPF Installer with at least 2+ years of hands-on experience in paint protection film installation. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cars, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to deliver flawless, high-quality installations that match DoubleTake Auto Spas standards.
Responsibilities:
- Install paint protection film (XPEL) on hoods, bumpers, fenders, mirrors, doors, roofs, and full-body applications.
- Perform proper prep work including washing, decontamination, and paint surface inspection.
- Accurately use plotter-cut patterns and custom bulk installs, wrapping edges where possible.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and dust-free work environment.
- Inspect finished work to ensure seamless, bubble-free, and defect-free installation.
- Communicate with management and customers when needed to explain coverage and options.
- Follow all safety guidelines and care procedures for high-end and exotic vehicles.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2+ years of professional experience installing PPF.
- Strong knowledge of installation techniques (stretching, bulk installs, wrapped edges).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and professional in appearance and communication.
- Valid drivers license with clean driving record.
Preferred Skills (not required but a plus):
- Experience with window tint and ceramic coating installation.
- Familiarity with XPEL DAP plotter software.
- Experience working on high-end, luxury, and exotic vehicles.
