Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Manager to join our team and oversee all billing, credit, collections, and A/R functions. This role is essential to maintaining healthy cash flow and ensuring timely and accurate financial operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction accounting and a proactive approach to collections and client communication.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare customer billings in Sage 100 Contractor within two days of submission by Project Managers
• Develop and implement consistent credit and collections processes
• Document all collection efforts and follow-ups in Sage 100 Contractor
• Manage overdue accounts, including interest charges and legal expenses
• Reconcile cash receipts with A/R balances promptly
• Prepare daily cash flow projections in coordination with the Controller
• Maintain billing documentation such as tax clearances, union releases, and lien release forms

Qualifications:
Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business or Accounting (preferred)
• Minimum 5 years of A/R management experience in a commercial construction environment
• Notary Public State certification (or willingness to obtain)

Performance Standards:

• Maintain A/R aging under 75 days (excluding retention)
• Minimize delinquencies and bad debt write-offs
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting
• Properly record OCIP and CCIP
• Conduct regular meetings to support credit and collection activities
